There is nothing quite like coming home to a clean house. I love leaving home to later come back at night after I have cleaned the house in the morning. It doesn’t happen as often as I would like (or the rest of the family for that matter), but it does happen on occasion. If I were to have a dinner party at my house, I would literally have to spend days if not weeks planning for it. From the decor and place settings to the menu, it would be a very lengthy and involved process. I would have to hire a cleaning crew to ensure that the dust bunnies have met their maker (or send everyone out for a full day and blast some 80s mix or a little Black Eyed Peas and do it myself. I would possibly enlist Jonathon to touch up paint throughout the house. I haven’t even gotten to the part where I come up with projects that have nothing to do with the dinner party, but for some reason always become really important when I am about to have new people over to the house. We once had about 2 tons of pebbles delivered 2 days before we were to have our daughter’s first birthday party. We had to shovel and wheelbarrow it all to the backyard to pave the walkways. This, my friends definitely could have waited until AFTER the party, but I just had to get it done. Did I mention it was late July in Tennessee? The humidity was like 1000 % and gross. Thank goodness that we had help from a few of our neighbors after they saw what we were trying to do. We should’ve hired someone is retrospect. After a party, there is always so much to do, it takes me 2 days to do all the dishes and clean up. I like parties, I like creating the vision for them, I just don’t like actually doing them, stressing over them and cleaning up after them. I’m pretty sure, Jonathon would just get a pizza and call everyone over no matter what the state of the house was, but ladies, you are with me, right? …right?
Okay, I do realize I am off on a tangent, but there is a point here. The ideal scenario when you are going to have a party is to have everything done for you so that you can enjoy your friends and get a chance to relax. Once the party is over there is so much to do as well. That’s why there are professionals that love designing and executing events that you envision. They love what they do and they are good at it. PERIOD. At CJs off the Square, you will get the quality service and hospitality that one might expect from a 5 star resort. From start to finish, the ladies of CJs off the Square will take care of everything for you. They work with the best vendors in Nashville and know just how to put your perfect event together. From corporate events, to weddings and everything in between, they can help you enjoy the party, so to speak. As Nashville Wedding Photographers, we have seen some events be stressful for their hosts and that is not the way you want your party to be.
Jonathon stopped by the historic venue to document the details of this gorgeous Private Dinner Party held late last month. The details themselves, both stunning and luxurious, but most importantly for the guests and the hostess- nothing to do on the day of the party, but show up and enjoy the amazing event that was created just for them. Enjoy these images and do yourself a favor, call CJs for your next event!
