Wow, this has been an amazing couple of months. I have been so blessed to meet and photograph so many wonderful people. Here is a prime example. a session for the Sparks and Cirotto families.
This is a shot of the little ones. Can you believe how silly they are?
This is a shot of J. age 4, and her sister S, age 2, lovin on their great grandfather.
This one really cracks me up – J. is giving great grandpa a big smooch while S. is pulling on his ear. You can’t pose this stuff.
Here are the sisters
a cute shot of J.
This is N swinging on the coolest swing. I totally wanted to try this but I was afraid I would break the tree. HA!
Here is sweet C. playing in the jungle gym.
This a shot of the brothers going for a walk together
And here is one more of N swinging. Look at this little guy – he’s probably twenty feet off the ground.
Thank you so much to the Sparks and Cirotto families, it was an honor to spend the afternoon with you.
One of the best parts of photographing these little guys is that I get to be a part of their world for a few hours. I hang out with them and play with them like I’m another little kid.
At these ages (2-5) everything changes so fast. looking at the Sparks girls reminds me of when my little sister, Mim, was that age. The way she used to look up to me and follow me around. I don’t really have many pictures of Mim and I at that age, so it is immensely fulfilling to be able to document this time for other families. I really hope one day these little kids will show these pictures to their great grandkids and tell them about the time in the Fall of 2008 when they were impossibly little and some crazy guy with a camera came and played with them and took their picture.
