Recently, I had the privilege of photographing this lovely family. This was my very first family lifestyle session and I was a little nervous. Thank goodness my girl Sharon was assisting me. she is so good at suggesting shot ideas and keeping everyone relaxed. We started out by just talking and playing with little Wyatt. Then while we were talking, I started to take a few pictures.
As I start to take shots, I try to make them very relaxed …and of course, fun. I want to try to capture typical moments from their day. Baby Leigha and Wyatt are only going to be at this stage of their lives for a short time, so I want to document who they are right now. I feel if I can capture what I am seeing and feeling around this beautiful family, then I have an opportunity to create some timeless images…something truly lasting.

Mommy and baby. Can you believe she was shy about having her picture taken. She just had her baby a few months ago and she looks amazing.
This last one is my favorite. These two are so beautiful.
